A successful Midsummer gathering and annual meeting! Thanks to the organizers and all who contributed & participated!

A wonderful weekend of being together, great food and good connections! 

An engaging talk on being 'Finnishanaabe' was given by respected Anishinaabe elder and well-known physician, Dr. Arne Vainio (Mille Lacs Band of Ojibwe).

That evening everyone got to dancing or at least tapping evening their feet to the music of the 'Make Believe Spurs', all the way from the UP. 

$369 was collected for the legal defense fund of the 15 anti-ICE activists, recently indicted. One of these 15 is Emmet Doyle, a musician who entertained us at the 2024 Midsummer. Congratulations to park members for support and solidarity.
