 Workbee Weekends are open to members and prospective members/interested folk. Come lend a hand and enjoy the camaraderie! If you have a specialized skill related to any of the future projects that you would like to offer to the park, please let us know.

Food:
Saturday & Sunday breakfast - oatmeal, breakfast burritos, and more.
Saturday mid-day meal - pasta & meat sauce, Mojakka and more.
There are plenty of leftovers if someone wants to organize an evening meal. We need kitchen coordinator(s) for August & October workbees! Talk to Kris G. if interested. 

 Ongoing maintenance & special projects: 

  • Repair/replace posts for hand railing going up from pavilion to pine hill – (Done!)

  • Install hand rails on steps from cabins to beach

  • Repair table by office (bench is bad)

  • Cleaning – sauna, pavilion, dining room.  Much progress made at July WB!

Skills Required / More Major Projects:

  • Install sink for handwashing in Dining Hall (Done!)

  • Install exterior electrical outlet on pump house

  • Yurt repair, canvas clean and stain base ( Done!)

  • Cabin 2 deck repair/replace (In process, stairs repaired)

  • Replace/repair ramps going into Dance Hall and breezeway (Breezeway Done)

  • Assess cabin 5 (and all cabins) for needed repairs

  • Assess Dining Hall doorways (lake and breezeway) for repair/replacement

  • Install new sauna stove if delivered

  • Scuppers on pavilion roof need cleaning (see Bruce/Aaron)

Forestry/Grounds:

  • Chain saw work - remove dead birch on birch hill & by cabins (see Bruce/Aaron)

  • Ongoing forestry work - See Tom, Oscar, or other on forestry committee

  • Trail clearing to children’s camp

  • Mowing, weed whacking, weeding - Ongoing
