Visit
Mesaba Park offers 240 acres of woodlands surrounding the spring-fed waters of Lake North Star. Twelve campsites, five with electrical hook-ups, are set among beautiful woods. Four rustic cabins and a yurt provide sleeping facilities. A public restroom and shower are available. A wood-heated sauna is available for use by members.
The Park’s historic pavilion was constructed in the 1930’s by members. The upper level of the historic pavilion has a 50’ x 50’ dance hall with hardwood maple floor and a performance stage ideal for speakers, musicians, and presentations. The dance hall can seat 200 people. The pavilion’s lower level consists of a large kitchen and dining hall capable of seating 100. The pavilion is available for group rental during the summer season.
Groups
Mesaba Co-op Park’s facilities are well suited for use by groups. Arts workshops, community festivals, family gatherings, retreats, rallies, educational conferences, children’s camps, and wedding receptions have been held at the Park. You do not need to be a member to use the facilities, or to participate in activities. Mesaba Park could be the perfect meeting place for your group.
